Milk, Eggs and Tranquilizers explores the isolation, invisible labor, and societal expectations historically placed upon women. Drawing on the visual language of mid-century advertising and suburban nostalgia, these paintings depict anonymous female figures performing familiar domestic rituals within meticulously ordered interiors. Their facelessness transforms them into universal archetypes, while recurring motifs of grocery lists, wine, tranquilizers, and looming shadows reveal the quiet anxieties hidden beneath ideals of domestic perfection. Through polished surfaces and subtle psychological tension, the work reimagines the home as both place of comfort and confinement.
